Mabel tried really hard to trust Ford, but the guy is too damn shady for her taste. She can’t understand why Dipper trusts him so much. Who knows? Maybe Ford has him under some wacky voodoo spell, complete with doll pincushion.
If nobody is willing to listen to her concerns in the Shack, then she’ll have to look for help somewhere else.
She has her own coats, but she still prefers to use Dipper’s jackets.
